This document provides the Commission with the forecasts needed to set the 2009 Employment Insurance premium rate in accordance with the Employment Insurance Act (“the Act”).
Starting in 2009, the Canada Employment Insurance Financing Board will be responsible for implementing a new Employment Insurance premium rate setting mechanism.
