Canada's Economic Action Plan made additional temporary investments in the LMDAs and LMAs over two years in fiscal 2009-10 and 2010-11, to help respond to the higher demand for labour market programs and training due to increased unemployment.  Northwest Territories' share of this funding was incorporated into the Canada-Northwest Territories Labour Market Agreement and the amendment to the Canada-Northwest Territories Labour Market Development Agreement.  For further information, please follow the links above.
