Skills and Partnership Fund (SPF) application status update
Please be advised that the assessment of applications under the second Call for Proposals for the SPF is not yet completed. Applicants should anticipate receiving information on the status of their proposal shortly.
The needs of Aboriginal workers have changed since the 1990s. The ongoing evolution of the labour market requires that governments and their partners continuously experiment and improve the programs and services required to develop a productive, skilled and adaptable labour force.
The Skills and Partnership Fund (SPF) promotes government priorities (federal/provincial/territorial), strategic partnerships and innovation in project delivery. It will drive change towards a more demand-driven, partnership-based program and create employment by addressing cases of low employment in depressed regions.
The SPF was launched in July 2010 with an investment of $210 million over five years.
