Bibliography of Plain Language Resources 1963-2003

What follows is a list of projects, products, learning materials and other items of interest found in the Literacy, Essential Skills and Plain Language Collection in the Service Canada Library.  Many of these items began as projects funded by the Office of Literacy and Essential Skills.  You will also find a list of Web sites and online documents.

Most of the material listed here is available for loan. The Service Canada Library does not loan to individuals directly, but will send items to other libraries through inter-library loan. If your organization does not have a library, contact your local public library and ask them to borrow the items you are interested in. Most college and university libraries will also provide this service if you are a student or are employed by the organization.

Please be aware that some libraries charge for this service.
