The Employment Equity Regulations
The Employment Equity Act is supported by the Employment Equity Regulations, which were adapted to provide further details and instructions on the obligations of the following employers:
The Regulations provide instructions for:
- consulting and communicating with employees;
- conducting a workforce survey;
- conducting a workforce analysis;
- conducting an employment systems review;
- developing and implementing an employment equity plan;
- establishing and maintaining employment equity records; and
- reporting annually on representation and actions taken.
