Material Evaluations

This section provides information related to the evaluation of specific building components, equipment or furnishings. Typically, Fire Protection Services prepares evaluations on new products that:

• cannot be tested or certified against existing testing or certification procedures;
• have been certified in other jurisdictions outside Canada; and
• are proposed to be used in special applications to meet specific fire safety requirements.
