Inspection Services
Regular fire inspections help ensure that critical building equipment, systems and fire emergency procedures meet the most up-to-date fire protection and prevention standards established in the National Fire Code of Canada.
Fire Protection Services offers inspection services to all federal departments and to major public band buildings within First Nations communities. However, the Department of National Defence is an exception as fire inspections for these buildings are provided internally.
Fire Protection Services conducts fire inspections in existing federal buildings including those under construction, renovation, or demolition. These services also include the review of fire safety plans, and providing advice and guidance to fire emergency organizations within federal buildings.
