  • Old Age Security (OAS)
  • Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
  • Québec Pension Plan (QPP)
  • Maximum of 25%
  • Deducted monthly from benefit payments
  • Letter advising of the deduction rate

  1. International agreements can help an applicant meet the eligibility requirements for a CPP (disability or survivor benefit) and OAS benefit (OAS, Allowance, Allowance for the survivor)
  2. Negotiations continue with other countries.
  3. Tax Agreements with some countries reduce the amount payable
